Sebastian Contreras

Sebastian Contreras has been a key figure at the Sportsplex for the past four years, where he currently serves as the Director of Soccer. Originally from Joliet, Illinois, Sebastian’s passion for soccer began at the age of 6, playing for the Chicago Park District soccer team. His youth career is decorated with achievements, including two U.S. Club Soccer National Tournament titles, three Midwest Regional Championships, and a victory in the Illinois State Cup. He was also called up to the U.S. National Team Training Center Roster during his early career.

Sebastian continued to excel in soccer during his time at Purdue Northwest, where he earned spots on the GLIAC All-Conference Team and the United Soccer Coaches All-Midwest Regional Team, and became a Conference Champion. Additionally, he gained international experience playing with Olympiacos FC B in Greece's Super League 2.

Now completing his Bachelor's in Business Management at Purdue Northwest, Sebastian has also built a reputation as a skilled coach, with five years of coaching experience under his belt.

Sebastian looks forward to exposing new players to the sport he loves while helping more experienced players hone and grow their skills.
