Kymberli Roberts is General Manager of the Hammond Sportsplex & Community Center. A lifelong Hammond resident and Morton High School alumna, Roberts earned a Master’s in Sports Administration from Valparaiso University. Her athletic expertise includes playing for IU Northwest Women’s Basketball team and coaching volleyball, basketball, softball and track in the northwest Indiana high school districts.

As Mayor, it gives me great pride and excitement to welcome you to the Hammond Sportsplex and Community Center, one of the Midwest’s premier youth and college sports facilities. This state-of-the-art complex is not only a hub for athletic development and healthy competition, but serves as a place where our community spirit thrives. Whether you're here to train, compete, or cheer from the stands, this facility represents the heart of our commitment to providing high-quality recreational opportunities for all.

Since its inception in 2018, the Hammond Sportsplex has become a top destination in the Midwest for youth and collegiate sports, from volleyball to soccer to basketball and much more. This facility also plays a crucial role in fostering local talent and attracting regional competitions, which support our city's economic development and put Hammond on the map as a destination for sports enthusiasts of all ages.
